You’re invited for EHN Canada’s next educational webinar:
Ethics in Mental Health & Addiction Treatment Practices
With Dr. Christina Basedow, PhD, RCC, CSAT, CMAT
Vice President Western Canada, EHN Canada
There are important distinctions between moral and ethics. Morals are personal values about right and wrong, good and bad, that come from the groups to which people belong and identify. Ethics are used to examine and evaluate how and why particular moral values affect how people see, reason, feel and behave. When working with people within mental health and addiction treatment, at any level from the individual to systemic, it is vital to evaluate decisions, policies and practices from the perspective of ethics. Join Dr. Christina Basedow, Vice President Western Canada, EHN Canada on Thursday, April 6 between 12-1pm EST as she provides her insight and expertise on this subject.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
- Define ethics in mental health and addiction treatment practices
- Examine the difference and similarities between general ethical guidelines and clinical guidelines
