A brief overview of the historical and current issues that have an affect on the employment of Indigenous Peoples. We will then review how to offer a more inclusive method of recruitment and retention of Indigenous Peoples.
Presenter information:
Nisa Kennedy is a Wolastoqiyik Woman who works as the Provincial Indigenous Employment Coordinator at the Joint Economic Development Initiative (JEDI). She works in collaboration with First Nation Employment Training Officers and Industry partners throughout New Brunswick to align training and employment opportunities for Indigenous Peoples.
