ChatCDP: Ethics in Career DevelopmentThe Career Development Professional Centre is thrilled to bring you ChatCDP – an opportunity to meaningfully connect with others working within career development and employment services, from coast-to-coast-to-coast.
ChatCDP is for those who are craving connections with colleagues. It is an opportunity to embrace the power of collaboration as CDPs from various backgrounds, work settings, and regions unite to lean on, and learn from, each other, share insights, celebrate successes, and experience the power of career development.
Together, we’ll pave the way for a dynamic and connected Canadian CDP Community where everyone has a voice . . . one chat at a time!
Ethics in Career Development: Shaping Out Daily Work
Led by Andrew Bassingthwaighte
In the fast-paced world of career development, it’s easy to become engrossed in the daily tasks and challenges, sometimes overlooking the profound impact that ethics has on our work. This interactive conversation aims to highlight the importance of ethics in the day-to-day work of CDPs, providing a reflective space to explore how ethical considerations shape various aspects of our practice.
Join us to reconnect with the core values that guide our profession as we engage in dynamic discussions and real-life scenario analysis, designed to deepen our understanding of ethical principles and their application in our work with clients, employers and funders.

Please note: sessions are capped at 25 attendees to allow for meaningful conversation and engagement. Please register only if you can attend the session. If sessions are in high demand, we will incorporate more into the schedule!
